Dengan adanya kemajuan zaman yang serba canggih ditambah kondisi pandemi covid 19 masih mewabah di negeri kita, maka pelaksanaan PAT (Penilaian akhir tahun) Semester Genap santri Pondok Pesantren Muhammadiyah Boarding School Prambanan jenjang SMP dan SMA tahun 2019/2020, menggunakan fasilitas online. Dan untuk pelaksanaanya di rumah masing-masing santri selama dua pekan, 15 – 28 Juni 2020. Hal ini sesuai dengan arahan dari wakil direktur 1 bidang pendidikan, ustadz Didik Riyanta, S. Sos.I. Adapun mata pelajaran yang diujikan pada PAT tahun ini adalah semua mata pelajaran yang berjumlah sekitar 23, baik syar’i maupun mapel umum.
Berdasarkan laporan dari panitia, pelaksanaan PAT berbasis online hari pertama berjalan dengan lancar dan sukses tanpa ada kendala apapun sesuai harapan yang telah disepakti. Hal ini berkat kerja keras para panitia yang sudah mempersiapkan segala sesuatu demi kelancaran pelaksanaan PAT tahun ini.
Menurut salah seorang panitia yang senantiasa sigap bertugas, Ust. Wahyu Hidayat, S. PdSi menyampaikan kelebihan menjawab soal dengan online antara lain santri terlihat sangat antusias, karena ini termasuk hal baru yang mereka temukan selama menempuh jenjang pendidikan di MBS. Dimana sejauh ini mereka tidak memanfaatkan tehnologi HP di lingkungan pesantren, karena memang di dalam aturan tidak diperbolehkan untuk menggunakan fasilitas HP. Keren sih us, ungkapan singkat, padat dan jelas dari Ahmad Tsaqiv, salah satu santri kelas 7D yang mengikuti PAT online hari pertama. Kelebihan lainnya, para asatidz merasakan kemudahan dalam membuat soal dan mengoreksinya dapat dengan cepat dan mudah melihat hasilnya, tanpa melalui proses yang panjang, karena semua sudah di desain secara otomatis.
Respon asatidz tentang pelaksanan PAT berbasis online menggunakan HP android ini sangat baik dan positif, karena memudahkan dalam pelaksanaan ujian. Demikian halnya para santri, meskipun aktifitas ujian tidak dilaksanakan di sekolah sebagaimana biasanya, namun dapat terlaksana dengan baik, mudah dan lancar, karena didukung oleh fasilitas HP yang mereka miliki.
